Para su comodidad y tranquilidad, le asignamos un médico personal que será su interlocutor durante toda la tramitación del servicio.
Le explicará detenidamente el funcionamiento del servicio, qué documentación nos tiene que remitir y aclarará cuántas dudas pueda tener.
Asimismo, le mantendrá puntualmente informado de cualquier avance que se produzca.
Podrá comunicarse con su médico personal por teléfono, correo electrónico o desde su Espacio Personal.
Para poder revisar un diagnóstico y recomendarle el tratamiento más apropiado en su caso, debemos aportar al especialista la información más relevante de su historia clínica así como las pruebas diagnósticas a las que se haya sometido (Resonancias, Scanners, biopsias,...).
Su médico personal le asistirá en la recopilación de su documentación médica.
En caso de que su información médica resultase insuficiente para que el especialista se pudiese pronunciar sobre su caso, su médico personal le orientará sobre los pasos a seguir para completarla.
Sólo necesitamos una copia de sus informes médicos y pruebas diagnósticas. En caso de que nos entregase documentación original, se la devolveríamos junto con el informe de Segunda Opinión Médica.
Una vez analizadas internamente su documentación médica y sus preguntas, identificaremos a un especialista que cuente con una amplia y contrastada experiencia en el diagnóstico y tratamiento de su problema de salud.
El especialista revisará personalmente su información médica, como si usted estuviese en su consulta.
Los especialistas consultados son reconocidos internacionalmente y recomendados por otros especialistas de su misma especialidad. Su actividad profesional se centra específicamente en el diagnóstico, tratamiento e investigación de su patología concreta.
El plazo habitual de entrega del informe de Segunda Opinión Médica oscila entre 10 y 15 días laborables.
Este plazo depende del número de especialistas que deban intervenir en la revisión de su caso y de su disponibilidad.
No obstante nos esforzamos siempre por acortar este plazo.
Una vez recibamos el informe del especialista, su médico personal le llamará para leérselo, explicárselo y aclarar las dudas que le puedan surgir antes de enviárselo.
